Behind the camera at Last Scene Photography is photographer Tom Ashley.
He is passionate about art and has chosen to express his creativity through the eye of the lens. Tom started taking pictures at an early age and throughout the years, has continuously worked to develop his skills.
Tom believes in making the memorable unforgettable through the art of digital imagery and aims to do so with every scene he captures.
WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?
“Having spent a great deal of time around my grandparents, who were both art teachers, I always had a lot of creative influences around me. No matter how hard I tried to draw though, it just never seemed to happen. Then I discovered photography, an outlet where I could actually be creative, without having to ever pick up a pen.”
FAVOURITE GENRE?
“My first love is landscape photography. I’ve always found something very special about capturing passing moments in nature; turning a memory into something physical that you are able to enjoy for years to come.
While I’m based in Northumberland, exploring different places both at home and abroad is another love of mine.”
